Speaking Is Difficult

Great video on mass shootings in the US. The NRA will say the only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. Once someone commits to such a heinous act doubt they fear anything since their lives are essentially over. The "good guys with guns" and regular citizens still want to live. Is a very lopsided conflict at that point. What can society do to prevent these acts in the first place, a safety net for all?
